Cortez Beach is a popular swimming and sunbathing spot with shaded picnic areas located off Sereno Lane.
11 Lakes, 3 Beaches & 2 Marinas in Hot Springs Village
Lake Balboa is the largest lake in Hot Springs Village. The beach area has fine sand with shelters, additional picnic tables and grills available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Balboa Pavilion will seat up to 300 people and has a public announcement system, picnic tables, restrooms, grills and a fireplace. It’s a good venue for events with its proximity to the beach area, large parking area, boat ramp and marina.
The Balboa Marina offers boat rentals and snacks. It has both covered and non-covered slip rentals on a permanent or part-time basis as well as bait and tackle supplies. Be sure to ask about the sunset tours and enjoy refreshments at the new Tiki bar.

Lake DeSoto has a marina and beach area. The marina, located off DeSoto Boulevard, offers non-covered slip rentals as well as boat, canoe, kayak, paddle board and paddle boat rentals. DeSoto Beach, off Seville Lane, has picnic tables and grills as well as access to walking trails.
